Annie Ellicott is President and Team Leader for LeapUp Marketing Solutions, a strategy and marketing services consultancy she founded in 2003 which has served over 70 clients to date in travel, retail and consumer services. Leapup’s sweet spot is online marketing strategy driving customer acquisition, relationship building and retention. Annie’s background includes over 25 years of experience in consumer business strategy and marketing program development. She has directed brand launches and turnarounds and led marketing campaign implementations across entertainment, media, apparel and health service categories. Her tenures at both fortune 500 and startups have included senior level roles in marketing, merchandising and management consulting at the Walt Disney Company, Levi Strauss & Company and Women.com (now part of NBCUniversal) and American Medical International where she was part of the McKinsey & Company strategy team. Annie holds a BA degree in Economics from Princeton University and an Masters of Science degree in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. Annie has guest lectured at state tourism conventions, the Adventure Travel Trade Association’s Annual Summits, America Outdoors, IATOS, Adventures in Travel Expos, The Princeton Club, San Francisco State University and numerous other industry and academic venues. She is currently a member of the Marketing Executive Network and is an active volunteer serving on the Board of Larkin Street Youth Services, on the Advisory Board for Global Service Corps. She is past Board Chair at Under One Roof and on the Board Emeritus at the Los Angeles Free Clinic. She is also an avid Class V rafter, horseback rider, regatta sailor and photographer.
